| Imagine that when you got to school you noticed that everyone looked exactly like you. Tell about your adventure. |
On a chilly, autumn morning as I walked to school I noticed something unusual. Up ahead there was a boy wearing a sweater that looked exactly like mine. Walking to the door, I saw another boy that was wearing the same sweater. When they turned down the hall, I was shocked that they looked just like me.
"What's going on?" I questioned. Everyone in the hallway looked like my twin. One of the boys patted me on the back and smiled. Another one shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. I guess he was as confused as I was. As I sat down in the desk, the teacher started calling roll. I looked up and couldn't believe my eyes. Even the teacher looked like me. She had the same sweater on and everything. Her voice sounded different though. She called the regular class list, but no one answered.
When she called my name, everyone in the class shouted, "HERE!" We did our math and turned-in our homework. Every kid in the class put my name on his homework. I hoped that they had done a good job. It made me very nervous. I wanted to call home, so I raised my hand to tell my teacher. "I feel sick," I announced when she walked to my desk.
She looked at me with her glasses on her nose and checked my forehead. I must've been pretty hot because she told me to go to the office. Faster than a speeding bullet, I rushed to the check-out phone. Mom answered and said she'd leave right away. While I was waiting, I looked around the office. THree other boys that looked just like me were sitting on the couch. I smacked myself. This was getting too weird!
After about 5 minutes, Mom walked in the office. She signed the check-out sheet and reached over to one of the boys on the couch. I started screaming, "Mom, it's me! You've got the wrong kid!" Suddenly, I felt someone shaking my arm. I looked up, and it was my mom. I had been dreaming.
"Thank goodness! I don't want anyone else to looked like me! It's nice being original," I admitted. It was an awful feeling being just like everybody else.
