TASK:  

Sparky wants to spread the word about FIRE SAFETY.  He is planning an Open House at Fire Station No. 3 to educate the people in his neighborhood because many children could be saved each year by following FIRE SAFETY rules.  He needs your help.  

Choose one of the TASKS below and begin collecting information.  Complete your presentation contribution and plan a time to host a FIRE SAFETY OPEN HOUSE in your classroom.  Invite other classes (including parents) to visit your FIRE SAFETY OPEN HOUSE.  Then, send a news article entry and a digital photograph to your local newspaper.
